Coinciding with KidsCo’s plans to expand into Russia, the international children’s channel has secured an exclusive distribution agreement with Russian distribution agency Pleiades Multimedia.

The agency will represent the channel across Russia, Moldova, Armenia and Georgia and will market KidsCo’s content for cable TV distribution, video-on-demand and linear TV on cable and IPTV.
The deal follows KidsCo’s expansion into Central Eastern Europe. Recent agreements see the channel on air in Macedonia (On.net), Hungary (Communique), Poland (Telekomunikacja Polska) and Romania (Botu Communication, Dynamic Distribution and GMB Computers).

Pleiades will be marketing KidsCo programming including Babar and Sabrina:The Animated Series as well as KidsCo original programming Boo & Me and Jass Time! to platforms across Russia and Central Eastern European countries.
