MTVNI names Michael Connolly SVP of consumer products

MTV Networks International (MTVNI) has tapped former Disney Consumer Products exec Michael Connolly as SVP of consumer products. Connolly takes over from Jean Philippe Randisi, former SVP & MD of NCP International, who left the company some weeks ago.

MTV Networks International (MTVNI) has tapped former Disney Consumer Products exec Michael Connolly as SVP of consumer products. Connolly takes over from Jean Philippe Randisi, former SVP & MD of NCP International, who left the company some weeks ago.

Based in New York, Connolly will be responsible for MTVN’s international consumer products operations and related global strategies outside the US. He will oversee consumer products efforts across all international markets, retail partnerships and key category relationships including toys, home entertainment, consumer electronics, video games and publishing for NCP’s portfolio of genres and evergreen properties, such as Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, in coordination with regional MTVNI operations. Additionally, he will direct business operations and the management of consumer products offices in New York, Miami, Toronto, London, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Singapore, Seoul, Spain, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Connolly joins MTVNI from Disney Consumer Products, where he served as VP of marketing and seasonal merchandise, North America, responsible for driving Disney’s retail marketing operations and overseeing licensing, seasonal merchandise planning and retail solutions in the North American region.
