Toronto, Canada-based Portfolio Entertainment has promoted Julie Stall to VP of Production.

Stall will oversee the company’s production slate in children’s, lifestyle and factual content, as well as expand the prodco’s relationships with producers on a global level. She will also work together with Portfolio’s co-founders and co-CEO’s Joy Rosen and Lisa Olfman on the company’s strategic growth goals.

Since joining Portfolio 10 years ago, Stall has produced Portfolio’s animated content, including the anticipated preschool animated series The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!. She has worked with Portfolio’s development team on a number of new projects and has piloted two new series, including Hood, a comedy adventure for tweens.

Throughout her 25-year career, Stall has gained experience working with Canadian networks CTV, CBC and Global as well as a number of specialty channels including Treehouse, Teletoon, YTV and Family Channel in addition to international distributors RTV and Buena Vista Television.
