Preschool entertainers The Wiggles have released a series of educational iPhone apps on iTunes for the first time.
The seven iPhone apps, which are positioned to take advantage of the device’s multi-touch interface and high-quality graphics, include Big Red Car, which encourages kids to collect a range of musical instruments and Big Red Plane, another collection game involving Wiggles paraphernalia.
The applications are available worldwide and cost roughly $0.90 apiece, with the exception of Colouring In, which is available for free. Since its launch in 2007, Apple has sold roughly nine million iPhones globally.
