- Tim Ricketts, the former COO/CFO at Coolabi Group, has joined Acamar Films in the same position to help broaden Bing’s global market presence. He’ll head up the studio’s financial and operational strategies, with a focus on supporting international growth. Ricketts worked at Coolabi, the company behind the Warrior Cats franchise, for 17 years.
- A team of 15 staffers from EA and its now-shuttered Cliffhanger Games studio have joined Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast to work on a new game under the leadership of Michael de Plater, an ex-VP of creative at EA. No details are available yet about this mystery project. All 15 of the new WOTC staffers previously worked together at Cliffhanger on a Black Panther title that was kyboshed when the studio closed down in May.
