Singaporean distribution and production company Bomanbridge Media has finalized its purchase of London-based financing and sales agency West One International.

Going forward, West One will be rebranded as Bomanbridge West and its founder and MD Carl Hall (pictured) will head up this new European operation as chief creative officer, reporting directly to Bomanbridge CEO and founder Sonia Fleck.

A notable distribution partner in the APAC market, Bomanbridge is strengthening its presence in the West through this acquisition. The company’s expanded catalogue will now include more than 5,500 hours of content spanning many genres, including some kids titles.

Hopping over from West One’s factual-heavy library are family-friendly educational titles like Kids Safari (36 x 15 minutes), My Wild Family (30 x five minutes), Reversing Climate Disaster (60 minutes) and Greenland: Survival at the Edge (two x 60 minutes).

Bomanbridge already reps Asian-market rights to various shows for kids and teens, including Alma’s Way (40 x 30 minutes), Odd Squad UK (12 x 22 minutes), Treehouse Detectives (40 x 11 minutes), Theodosia (52 x 30 minutes) and Dino Dex (13 x 22 minutes).
