The Tree of Wisdom is branching out with a new series in the Wiggles catalogue.

The Australian music group has announced Tree of Wisdom TV (18 x five minutes), which will package songs and stories about the titular tree—who has gained a notable fan following, thanks to his high-energy dance routines.

Portrayed by Dominic Field, The Tree made his debut in season four of Ready, Steady, Wiggle! in 2023. By late 2024, the character’s lively moves started going viral, with videos of his dancing racking up more than 200 million views on social media, according to a release.

Details regarding the release date of this new spinoff show were not available at press time. But it will certainly broaden the character’s fast-growing franchise footprint, including a new Tree of Wisdom album that’s due out on October 3, and an upcoming sold-out tour (The Tree of Wisdom Big Show Arena Spectacular Tour).

There’s also no slowdown on the rest of the Wiggles’ content pipeline. Coming up next year, the brand will be rolling out the eighth season of its preschool series Ready, Steady, Wiggle! (52 x 11 minutes). 

Distributor ABC Commercial is bringing the titles to MIPCOM next month, along with other existing content like a 75-minute collection of country music-inspired videos called Wiggle Up, Giddy Up! and Wiggle & Learn (80 x 11 minutes).
