  • LA-based toy robotics company Robosen has hooked up with Disney and Pixar to launch the first line of MINI Robots for kids, featuring characters from Toy Story and Wall-E (pictured). A full collection of these programmable robots will roll out next month in the US across Amazon, Best Buy, Costco and Target. Kids will be able to customize them with new actions and voice lines using the Robosen Studio Software that’s included with each purchase. The toyco also has an agreement in place with Hasbro for the Transformers franchise.

  • Disney has forged a new deal with German streamer ARD Plus that will see thousands of regionally produced TV series episodes and films join the Disney+ catalogue in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Similar streaming deals were struck earlier this year with ZDF Studios, Atresmedia and ITV.

  • Banijay Kids & Family has partnered with the British baking brand Homepride to launch Mr. Bean flour packages and tins at UK retailers this week. The rollout will also feature a contest running until January for exclusive merchandise and family cooking classes.
