- Minecraft is heading into Brand Licensing Europe next month with three new licensing partners that will begin rolling out products worldwide later this year. Adidas is creating a branded collection of footwear and apparel; KontrolFreek will manufacture gaming controller accessories; and Swarovski has a range of collectible crystal figurines in the works.
- Miraculous Corp is teaming up with two European retailers for new in-store promo campaigns. Germany’s Rofu will kick things off in November with themed toy displays and a prize draw for a trip to Paris, and then Bandai and Smyth Toys plan to host character meet-and-greets and run digital ad campaigns across the UK later in the month. These retail pushes will be running while toy partners Playmates Toys and Playmobil roll out new Miraculous product launches for the holiday season.
- Horror game Poppy Playtime‘s developer Mob Entertainment has partnered with Jazwares to launch a co-branded range of Squishmallows featuring its flagship characters. The collection of four plush SKUs rolled out to Target stores across North America today, and that footprint will expand to include Amazon, Gamestop and Hot Topic in the coming months.
