Eolo Toys’ design studio ToyZone has partnered with licensing guru Julien Barbier and his Consumer Product Connection company to launch a new agency called BrandZone.

Under this joint-venture, ToyZone and CPC plan to work together to scout and develop emerging brands into franchises for the global market. ToyZone will design new toys for these IPs, while CPC expands them into other product categories and unlocks content opportunities.

BrandZone is making its industry debut next week at Brand Licensing Europe, representing its  first original IP, Tattoo Zoo, which revolves around magical tattooed animals with attitude and  targets teenagers and kidults with collectibles and plush. Eolo is the master toy partner and will share more details about its product range at a later date.

ToyZone has previously worked with major toycos such as Character Options (Heroes of Goo Jit Zu vehicles), Wowwee (Fingerlings) and Moose Toys (Bibi Chibis) on designing new products and sourcing materials.

And Barbier has managed consumer products programs in Iberia for Gigantosaurus and Dennis & Gnasher, as well as a global L&M program for the beauty brand Chic&Love.
