  • ITV has promoted Darren Nartey (pictured) from senior acquisitions manager for films and kids into an expanded leadership role. As head of acquisitions, he will now lead the broadcaster’s content acquisitions team—a function that was handled by Sasha Breslau before she departed for HBO Max UK & Ireland in July. Nartey has been with ITV for a decade and has played a role in brokering acquisitions such as The Oscars and the Harry Potter franchise. He will now report directly to Craig Morris, director of channels, ITVX and acquisitions.
  • Universal Products & Experiences has named John Revill as its regional MD of consumer products for the EMEA market. Revill is a Universal sales veteran who has worked in the home entertainment division since 2006. His appointment follows the news that Jay Visconti—who joined the studio as SVP of consumer products for EMEA in December 2024—will depart next month to pursue a new career opportunity in Italy.
  • Jazwares has recruited Michelle Wong as its new SVP of global marketing, with a remit that will see her lead campaigns for both proprietary and licensed brands (including Pokémon and Hello Kitty, to name a few). She joins from US bakery chain Sprinkles, where she served as CMO for more than three years.
  • Rebecca Glashow is vacating her CEO of BBC Global Media & Streaming position to join a new company. Glashow has been with the Beeb for five years, starting out as president of BBC Studios Americas before moving up to oversee global distribution. Her duties will now be divvied up, with Zai Bennett (BBC Studios Productions CEO and CCO) taking over distribution and content sales, and UKTV CEO Marcus Arthur overseeing global channels.
