  • Studio 100 International has secured several pre-sales for the Media Valley and Belvision CG-animated soccer series Louca (pictured). The new pre-sale partners are RTBF (Belgium), TFOU Max (France), RTS (Switzerland) and TV5 Monde (France). TF1 commissioned this 26 x 22-minute comedy about a clumsy teen who gets soccer training (and life advice) from the ghost of the school’s former team captain. Aimed at six to nines, it’s based on a best-selling same-name comic book series which has sold more than a million copies in French-speaking territories. The first episodes are set to launch in the first half of 2026, with complete delivery planned for the second half of 2026. Studio 100 handles worldwide distribution and L&M, while TF1 licensing manages these rights for French-speaking territories.

  • Epic Story Media Distribution has picked up global sales rights to Compass Films’ upcoming 2D-animated series Ormhildur the Brave (26 x 22 minutes). In this fantasy/adventure series for ages seven and up, a young girl teams up with mythical creatures to help restore the frozen land these beings come from. Epic Story has worldwide rights, but that doesn’t include some Nordic countries where the series has already been pre-sold. Ormhildur the Brave is a co-production between Reykjavik-based Compass Films, Projects (Iceland), Animation Studio Iceland and Letko (Poland). Several Nordic broadcasters are on board as co-producers, including KiKA and NDR (Germany), YLE (Finland), DR (Denmark) and NRK (Norway). The series is in production now for a Q1 2026 delivery, and Compass is also developing a 45-minute Christmas special called Ormhildur and the Christmas Creeps
