- German toyco Tonies has closed a major licensing deal with The Pokémon Company International and will roll out branded Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur figures for its Toniebox audio system to retailers worldwide next summer. The new products unlock Pokémon-themed stories and activities for young listeners when placed on a Toniebox.
- Bluey will make her grand debut at Disneyland Park on March 22, thanks to a theme park licensing extension between the Mouse House and BBC Studios. Disney plans to transform the park’s Fantasyland Theater into Bluey’s school, where she and Bingo will bring music and scenes from the series to life on stage. A new Bluey-branded experience is also under construction at Walt Disney World Resort and will open to the public next summer, teaching kids about animals native to Bluey’s home in Australia.
- Scopely has inked a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery to run a Harry Potter-branded event in its Monopoly GO! mobile game from December 10 to February 4. The initiative introduces a new game board inspired by the Wizarding World, themed tokens and multiple racing mini-games with Quidditch broomsticks and Gringotts carts.
- HBO Max has signed a multi-year content licensing deal with Leonine Studios to pick up several films ahead of its launch throughout German-speaking Europe on January 13. Some younger-skewing titles joining the streamer include The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping and Asterix: The Kingdom of Nubia.
- Tinybuild has added several new licensees to its consumer products program for tentpole game franchise Hello Neighbor. YouTooz (figures), Olimpos Publishing (novels and guides), Artovision (artwork) and Valari (home goods) will all begin rolling out products based on the brand worldwide next year. Amazon Prime Video has also picked up the game’s 2D-animated series adaptation Hello Neighbor: Welcome to Raven Brooks (18 x 12 minutes) to air in the US, Canada and Australia.
- Winsing Animation has inked sales for its flagship CG-animated preschool series GoGo Bus and feature film Into the Mortal World at ATF this week. RTV has picked up the 13th season of GoGo Bus, as well as renewing a license to stream seasons three through 12 on its YouTube channel. Meanwhile, Boomerang Thailand has acquired the full series, which it will begin airing next year. Lastly, Astro has secured the rights to broadcast Into the Mortal World at its 2026 Spring Film Festival and on its linear channel and digital platform in Malaysia.
