DreamWorks primes a Gabby’s Dollhouse tour 

The prodco has teamed up with KidsGardening to launch a Gabby’s-branded three-month tour across several US-based botanical gardens. The Gabby’s Dollhouse Fairylandia Tour launches in April and will feature arts & crafts stations, character meet-and-greets, activity booklets, temporary tattoos and commemorative buttons to celebrate the series’ new outdoor setting. 

 

8 Lions Entertainment secures a partnership with Japan’s TV Asahi

Under the global licensing agreement, 8 Lions will develop and launch a digital distribution strategy for TV Asahi’s long-running Ninja Hattori anime franchise for kids. The London-based studio will kick things off by launching a network of localised Ninja Hattori YouTube channels in Spanish, Arabic, Thai and Vietnamese later this year, before expanding the property to more SVOD, AVOD and FVOD platforms outside Japan. 

 

Disguise picks up a KPop Demon Hunters license

Jakks Pacific’s costume division will manufacture and distribute a range of KPDH-branded costumes for both kids and adults across North American and LatAm retailers later this year. Disguise also has the rights to launch treat buckets and pet costumes inspired by the IP in time for Halloween. 

 

ZDF Studios signs wedotv as a distribution partner

The new partnership will see wedotv serve as the pay-TV distributor for German broadcaster ZDF’s Pash kids & family streaming channel, which features more than 500 hours of animated and live-action content. The channel provider plans to launch Pash first in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland, followed by English-language rollouts in Asia and the Middle East. 

 

Magikbee acquires distribution rights to Team S.T.E.A.M. 

Producer Guang Dong Winsing Company and distributor Pear & Cat Media have inked a strategic partnership with the Portuguese mobile developer Magikbee to bring the first two seasons of the CG-animated toon to its flagship KidsBeeTV educational app. Other shows featured on the app include Molang, Pocoyo, Sunny Bunnies and Om Nom Stories
