Big Shot Pictures, the new prodco headed by former Paramount co-CEO Brian Robbins, is propelling its digital-first push with another YouTuber deal—this time, involving the popular kids channel A for Adley (8.48 million subscribers).
The banner has entered a strategic partnership with Spacestation, the shingle of family vlogger Shaun McBride (also known as Shonduras). His daughter Adley is the face of the aforementioned channel, which focuses on pretend play, family adventures and occasional kids brand partnerships (for example, Mattel has featured Adley in digital-first Barbie music videos).
As we know, Robbins’ company has been working on an adaptation of Kay Thompson’s Eloise books. Under the new pact, this adaptation will launch as a digital-first series on YouTube featuring animated versions of Adley and the McBride family in the world of Eloise. It’s a natural fit for Spacestation, which already has an active pipeline producing toons based on the McBrides.
Beyond the series, Spacestation and Big Shot are also working together on an incubator to help identify and fuel more creator partnerships. While more details will be shared at a later date, the companies did mention in a release that the aim of the incubator is to support more IP building through animation, consumer products and other ventures.

The McBride family
Robbins noted in the release that the partnership provides an opportunity for Big Shot to “innovate in the social space alongside a digital powerhouse like Adley.” With more than 12 billion lifetime views on YouTube, Adley boasts a strong digital reach—as well as other lines of business like mobile games (more than 6.9 million combined downloads, according to Spacestation) and merchandise lines.
Big Shot has been sharply focused on a digital-first model and creator partnerships to build out its nascent slate. Recently, the company signed deals to make animated projects with kids & family YouTubers The Bucket List Family (1.5 million subscribers) and popular creator IShowSpeed (53.3 million YouTube subscribers).
