In celebration of its fifth birthday, PBS Kids Sprout will premiere its first long-form original series Noodle and Doodle on September 25.

Produced by Sprout, the new series (26 x 11-minutes) will debut within the US network’s live morning block, The Sunny Side Up Show, which is expanding to include weekends. As a result, Noodle and Doodle will air twice every Saturday and Sunday morning.

The series also marks the first time that Sprout is making an original program available for international distribution. The series will be accompanied by a website that will feature sharing galleries, how-to videos and games.

Noodle and Doodle features arts, crafts and healthy recipes inspired by real preschoolers’ experiences. All of the cooking and crafting takes place inside a double-decker bus.
