Toronto, Canada-based Skywriter Media and Entertainment Group has inked a deal with the newly rebranded Entertainment One (eOne) to launch the classic series The Raccoons, season one on Apple’s iTunes US. The Raccoons is a Canadian children’s animated series that follows the adventures of Bert Raccoon and his friends from the Evergreen Forest.

The series’ first season is now available from the iTunes Store in the US, where customers can purchase individual episodes at US $1.99 each or the entire season for US $9.99. Additional seasons and territories will be announced later this year.

The Raccoons originally aired weekly in primetime to viewers on CBC Canada, Disney Channel in the US and BBC in the UK, and has since aired in more than 180 territories worldwide. The series is currently airing on Teletoon Retro (Canada) and Boomerang (UK and EMEA), among others.

The Raccoons was produced by Evergreen Raccoons Marketing and is now being distributed worldwide by Skywriter Media and Entertainment Group.
