Santa Monica-based animation developer and licensor Dentsu Entertainment USA and toy manufacturer Namco Bandai have secured a multi-territory partnership deal for the master toy license of Japanese animated kids TV series LBX (Little Battlers eXperience).

The deal will see toys (figures, role play, vehicles, action model kits) based on the series, which debuted on TV Tokyo in March 2011, be distributed throughout the Americas in fall 2013. Namco also inked a separate master toy license agreement with TV Tokyo for European territories expected in fall 2013.

The series, created by Akihiro Hino and currently in its second season, has found success in Japan with more than 44 episodes airing in TV Tokyo’s prime time programming block. LBX is set in 2050 where children use miniature, customizable LBX robots in robot battles.
