Disney Channel has ordered up a second season of new series, Good Luck Charlie, and has started development on a holiday-themed Good Luck Charlie Disney Channel original movie.
The comedy series, which centers around a family collaborating to raise a new baby girl, is executive-produced by TV vets Dan Staley and series’ creators Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen.
According to Disney, Good Luck Charlie has ranked as the number-one series on television among kids six to 11 and tweens nine to 14 since its premiere three months ago. The series, from It’s a Laugh Productions, is seen on Disney Channel outlets around the globe.
