Nickelodeon Consumer Products International has a signed a raft of global deals with partners in the health and beauty sectors.
In Latin America, NCP has licensed dental care ranges with Colgate and Listerine. Colgate has inked a deal covering Mexico, Central and South America for Dora The Explorer, Rocket Power and SpongeBob SquarePants-branded mouth rinse, manual and powered toothbrushes and toothpaste for children agesfour to six.
For Mexico, Johnson & Johnson brand Listerine is putting iCarly on its Agent Cool Blue mouth rinse promotion, aimed at kids ages six to 12.
Meanwhile, in a European multi-property deal, Texas-based US supplier Nouveau Eyewear has signed a deal with Specsavers covering children’s sunglasses and accessories as well as prescription eye frames. The deal will encompass the Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants brands for Benelux, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, France, UK, Iberia, Greece, Malta & Cyprus, Nordics, Italy, Eastern Europe and Turkey.
In the UK, sponge supplier Ramer has signed a renewal on SpongeBob SquarePants branded sponges.
And through its local licensing agent Biplano, NCPI has signed brand-new deals for the Iberian region, which will see Dirac cover a range of SpongeBob SquarePants-branded stress dolls aimed at teenagers and young adults.
