Canadian production, distribution and licensing company CCI Entertainment has promoted Rekha Shah to VP of distribution & co-production.
Shah’s now focused on international and domestic financing of productions and will continue to serve in her ongoing role as a key executive in CCI’s distribution team.
The appointment comes as CCI embarks on a strategic plan to expand and diversify its international financing and marketing activity. The internal promotion intends to broaden CCI’s production slate and encourage new development relationships with creative companies both in Canada and internationally.
Shah has been with CCI for two years as director of sales. Prior to joining the company, she worked in sales at Atlantis Films and in development at Torstar Corporation.
