Toronto-based CCI Releasing is beginning production on Jerry and the Raiders, a 26 x 11-minute animated series for kids four to eight, to air on Canadian pubcasters TVO in Ontario and SRC in Quebec in 2013.

The series will be co-produced with Montreal’s Fake Studios and First Star Studios and received funding from the Canadian Media and Shaw Rocket funds. The property will also include an online experience using specially created apps for mobile, tablet and other platforms that blend technology with augmented reality.

Jerry and the Raiders follows the life of Jerry, a naturally curious seven-year-old boy whose life is turned upside down when two of this toy action figures come to life. His life spins comically out of control as his toys try to solve mysteries of Jerry’s everyday world as he gets tangled up in daily adventures.
