Nickelodeon has upped Frank Tanki to the newly created role of SVP of partnership marketing and operations.
Tanki’s now responsible for the development of Nickelodeon’s corporate marketing partnerships as well as the operations of its marketing department. Tanki will continue to report to Pam Kaufman, CMO of Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids & Family Group.
As part of his operations duties, Tanki will establish key processes and best practices across Nickelodeon’s marketing departments, and ensure that they are implemented company-wide. His new role will also include leading the coordination of Nickelodeon events like its annual upfront presentation, the Kids’ Choice Awards, TeenNick Halo Awards and the network’s annual participation at Comic Con.
Tanki makes the move from the role of Nickelodeon’s VP of partnership marketing, where he forged strategic marketing partnerships with various NBA and MLB teams, and worked with partners such as Sony Music to launch Nick’s newest live-action series, Big Time Rush.
