Cartoon Network US is set to launch its first live-action, scripted drama mystery series for kids on June 13. Unnatural History, produced by Warner Horizon Television, will air Sunday nights at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on the State-side channel.

The series will deliver a new mystery each week based on the science, history and culture surrounding The National Museum complex in Washington, D.C. and center on teenager Henry Griffin – who happens to have globetrotting anthropologists as parents. He gets shipped off to live with his uncle Bryan and cousin Jasper in Washington, D.C. when his mom and dad think its time for him to lead a normal life. Little do they know the The National Museum Complex is chock full of mysteries that will put Henry’s worldly skills to the test.

WHTV specializes in the creation of scripted series for the cable marketplace and primetime reality series for both network and cable. Founded in 2006, this second production entity allows the Warner Bros. Television Group to expand its programming offerings and explore creative options made possible under a new business model.
