On the heels of the MIPTV, New York City-based 4Kids Entertainment has signed two broadcast agreements for the animated series Dinosaur King, based on the international arcade and collectible card game from SEGA.

Turner Spain has picked up the entire Dinosaur King series, while in the UK, GMTV licensed season two of the fantasy/adventure show. The addition of Spain completes the list of major European free and pay TV networks now airing Dinosaur King and brings the total number of markets licensed to over 90 countries.

On the licensing side, 4Kids has been named the licensing agent for Suckers, a new HD toon from BRB Internacional. The agreement covers the US, Canada, UK and Eire. Suckers (104 x two minutes) is geared towards the six to 12 set and depicts the world through the eyes of the Suckers, a group of toys that are attached to the rear windows of cars.

Broadcasters have been picking up the rights for the show, which has been airing on Disney XD in the US since last February. Spain commenced airing in April and Disney XD channels across EMEA will follow suit shortly.

The licensing plan includes hatching a range of products from plush to mobile phones and car accessories
