Videogame publisher Atari has announced a raft of partners to support the launch of the all-new Backyard Sports Sandlot Sluggers video game for the Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS, shipping out May 25, 2010.
Franklin Sports, GT Beverages, Baseball Youth, and the National Alliance of Youth Sports have signed on as marketing partners for game, which allows players to join their favorite neighborhood friends and play ball.
Franklin Sports product and brand integration will appear in the game and will include a pitching machine, logos on fields and billboards. GT Beverages is putting the title’s logo on its Sportastic sports drink from May to June 2010. Interactive traveling tour visiting youth baseball tournaments, The Baseball Youth Road Trip Fanfest, meanwhile, is set to travel across the US, providing on-site live demos of the game.
