Last Friday’s premieres of Cartoon Network’s newest animated original series Ben 10: Ultimate Alien and Generator Rex ranked first on all television in their time periods among boys six to 11 and nine to 14, respectively. Additionally, Generator Rex ranked first in its time slot on all TV among kids two to 11. These strong performances have resulted in Cartoon Network picking up an additional 20 episodes for Generator Rex and 32 more for Ben 10: Ultimate Alien.
Both action-adventure series were created by the animation team Man of Action (Joe Casey, Joe Kelley, Duncan Rouleau, and Steven T. Seagle) and are produced at CN’s studios in Burbank, California.
Ben 10: Ultimate Alien follows 16-year-old Ben Tennyson, who is able to transform into hyper-evolved versions of his aliens. Generator Rex is the story of Rex, a young super agent who has the ability to create mechanical weapons and vehicles from his own body.
