TeamWorks announces new licensing deals at Kids Licensing Forum

Italian licensing company TeamWorks has announced a series of licensing partners for Spike Team, a new animated television series created by Italian volleyball champion Andrea Lucchetta.

Italian licensing company TeamWorks has announced a series of licensing partners for Spike Team, a new animated television series created by Italian volleyball champion Andrea Lucchetta. The new series (26 x 30-minutes), co-produced by RAI Fiction and Lucky Dreams, will be launched in Italy next Fall on Rai Due. TeamWorks manages the TV distribution and licensing rights for the series, which chronicles the exploits of six 16-year-old girls on their journey to victory on a volleyball team. The First partners to join the project were announced at the Licensing Forum and include Cartorama (school supplies, stationery and gift), Fly (shoes), Erreà (sportswear), San Carlo (snacks) and Pasta di Gragnano (gourmet pasta).

TeamWorks has also forged an agreement with Neo Network, a Zodiak Entertainment Group company, for the Italian licensing rights to television series The Qpiz. The new series (52 x two-and-a-half minutes) will air next Fall on digital channel Rai Gulp and is aimed at girls 10 years or older. Developed by Neo Network in co-production with Rai and the Indian company DQ Entertainment, The Qpiz stars three love-struck teenagers, all of whom are already depicted on the show’s interactive website www.theqpiz.com. In Italy, negotiations are currently underway with companies in sectors such as publishing, fashion and accessories, back-to-school and gifts.
