Disney Family.com and Desperate Housewives‘ star Teri Hatcher are launching GetHatched.com, A Chick’s Guide to Life.

On schedule to roll out in May, the site will be produced by Disney Family.com and feature insight from Hatcher herself. The site is intended to be a fun, inspirational and unique web destination, featuring a variety of topics and solutions for the needs of all women. Hatcher will contribute original content to the site, which will feature articles, blogs, original videos series, and advice from her team of experts on everything pertaining to the demands on a woman.

The Disney Online Mom and Family Portfolio houses DisneyFamily.com, Kaboose.com, FamilyFun.com and BabyZone.com. Disney Online, a unit of Disney Interactive Media Group, is the online and now mobile web gateway to all of the company’s branded entertainment initiatives, providing access and information about Disney movies, travel, television, games, music, shopping and live events.
