London-based Cake Entertainment has signed on to distribute OOOHHHASIS, its third title with Paris-based animation studio TeamTO.
The 78 x seven-minute CGI series is a co-production with Seoul-based TUBA. Cake will be bringing the series to MIPTV next month, looking to distribute in worldwide markets, excluding France.
OOOHHHASIS follows the adventures of Oscar the lizard in a desert full of sun, sand, chickens, three no good neighbours, Harchi, Popy and Burk, and a road that runs right through it.
The deal is the third collaborative project with TeamTO, following Cake’s pickup of Hareport and Angelo Rules. Hareport‘s been sold to networks in Australia, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Middle East, Russia, Hungary and Israel. And Cake recently announced that Angelo Rules has secured sales to Turner Broadcasting’s Cartoon Network in all territories, excluding the US, Italy, France and Japan, while Italy’s public service broadcaster, RAI, has picked up the rights.
