I Can Cook is back with another 26 x 15-minutes episodes to serve up a selection of specially tailored recipes and top cookery tips for the under-sixes on UK diginet CBeebies.

Produced by Endemol-owned prodco, Initial, in London, the series centers around host Katy Ashworth as she welcomes five children in each ep into the kitchen to create a recipe of the day. Kids not only learn kitchen and cookery skills, but also visit the show’s garden where they find out how key ingredients are grown in order to create meals.

Also following the format of series one, the second season will feature guessing games, brand new recipes and sing-a-longs. In addition, all the recipes from the series are available online to print out as factsheets at bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/icancook. Children can also develop skills in cookery techniques in the virtual space, before transferring them to the real world in the I Can Cook interactive game.
