Equestrian-themed girls property The Saddle Club (aka Grand Galop), has new licensees thanks to deals made by Zodiak Kids, CP in Paris.

From June 16 to August 10 across 240 restaurants in France, the fast food chain Flunch is sponsoring a QSR promotion where Saddle Club bracelets, notebooks, compressed towels, shopping bags, heart-shaped pendants, and pen and pencil sets will be offered with the children’s menu. The promotion will be supported by TV ad campaigns on TF1, FR3, FR5, Boomerang, Cartoon Network, Boing, Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior, Gulli, Teletoon, and Piwi.

In addition, a second Nintendo Grand Galop DS game will be launched by Koch Media that will hit 200 Carrefour supermarkets across France throughout the summer.

Other new licensees include D’Arpege (rollerblades, scooters and accessories), E-Max (sticker albums) and Ravensburger (an arts and craft range).

The Saddle Club (78 x 26 minutes) is a live-action series based on Bonnie Bryant’s popular novels that follow the adventures of a group of young girls and their horses.

Zodiak Kids, CP, Paris manages The Saddle Club in Europe and the Aussie import has also expanded into DVDs, comic books, magazines, and a growing online presence.
