New York City-based 4Kids Entertainment will be shopping around the 39 x half-hour ep anime fantasy-adventure series Tai Chi Chasers at next month’s MIPTV.

The series uses a blend of traditional cel animation and CGI and focuses on Rai, a young orphan who discovers he is a descendent of ancient peaceful race who are locked in struggle with the cunning Dargonoids. The core-boy series is looking to follow the same pattern of international rollout as 4Kids last Japanese animation series Dinosaur King.

The series will be available for delivery for Q4 2011 in all markets excluding Asia.
