The Foundation, part of the RDF Media Group, has been commissioned to produce series four and five of the adventure game show for children Escape from Scorpion Island for CBBC and ABC TV in Australia.

The two 13 x 60-minute series, set to air in 2010 and 2011, will be co-produced with Australia’s Freehand Productions and shot in Australia, featuring Aussie and Brit kids.

In Escape from Scorpion Island, 10 children from the UK and Australia between ages 11 and 13 are marooned on an exotic island and compete to be the first team to conquer the island and learn how to escape.

RDF Rights has secured international sales for the first three series of Escape from Scorpion Island to several key territories. YTV in Canada has picked up series two and three and Al Jazeera has bought series two and three for the Middle East.
