As part of its new Make Your Mark: Ultimate Jam event, Club Penguin is bringing in more popular characters from outside its virtual world with the addition of Rocky and CeCe penguins from Disney Channel’s live-action comedy Shake It Up.

Guest appearances by Rocky and CeCe mark the first time online players will get to interact with the series’ personalities in the Club Penguin world.

The new event, which runs from July 19 to 31, also sees the release of Club Penguin’s first single and music video, “The Party Starts Now,” by DJ Cadence in English, French, German and Spanish.

Additional features let players dress up Rocky and CeCe, decorate igloos with dance and music-inspired decorations, choreograph and organize shows, coach performances, and unlock exclusive moves based on Rocky and CeCe’s signature dance styles from Shake It Up.

Players can also enter Disney Channel’s Make Your Mark: Shake It Up Dance Off. With parental permission, kids ages eight to 16 can visit DisneyChannel.com/Danceoff to create and enter their own short dance videos to be considered for a chance to compete in an on-air dance competition.
