Cartoon Network keeps Bandai onboard for the next chapter of Ben 10

Cartoon Network Enterprise (CNE) has extended its licensing agreement with Bandai as the global master toy licensee for its Ben 10 franchise.

Cartoon Network Enterprise (CNE) has extended its licensing agreement with Bandai as the global master toy licensee for its Ben 10 franchise.

The two companies have been partners since 2005 and launched Ben 10 product at US retail in July 2006. This worldwide deal renewal will extend the partnership through 2012, and includes rights for action figures, playsets, role play items and more in all territories.

Ben 10 is currently one of the top-five brands in multiple territories throughout the world, and it currently ranks as the top-selling toy brand in the UK, Spain, Southwest Asia, South Africa and Australia, according to The NPD Group.

New items from the Ben 10 Alien Force toy line will debut in the US across all tiers of retail this spring, including the action figure line, the Ultimate Omnitrix, the Alien Creation Chamber Set and more. Fall 2010 will see toys from the next chapter of the franchise, Ben 10 Ultimate Alien debut on shelf.
