As Helen Howells steps up to a new role as commercial director for UK-based Target Entertainment Group, the company has brought on Richard Woolf as director of licensing.
Howells is now working on strengthening the collaboration between Target’s TV distribution and consumer rights teams, along with managing the children’s TV sales, home entertainment and licensing divisions, as well as handling the master toy and publishing categories.
Woolf, meanwhile, will be responsible for all other licensing categories and will also be tasked with expanding Target’s international licensing business. He comes to Target from Jetix, where he served as director of international licensing, and also held posts at 4Kids Entertainment and Warner Bros.
