UK home entertainment distributor Abbey Home Media has inked a deal with McLaren Group for the exclusive UK DVD rights to the CG-animated kids series Tooned.
The first Tooned DVD is set to be released on December 10, 2012 and will also be available at www.mclarenstore.com and at select high street retailers.
The racing-themed series, which airs on Sky Sports F1, stars McLaren’s two world champion drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, who voice their own characters.
McLaren Animation, a joint venture with visual effects and animation studio Framestore, is structured under McLaren Group.
