Tokyo, Japan-based Adness Entertainment’s live-action boys series Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is making its way onto Cartoon Network in Asia and Australia.
A full 40 half-hour episodes are scheduled to launch in 2010, and will be seen in Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The series follows the heroic adventures of teenager Kit Taylor, who discovers a mysterious deck of advent cards that grant him the power to transform into an ancient armored warrior called a Kamen Rider. He joins his comrade, Kamen Rider Wing Knight, to battle the alien renegade warlord, General Xaviax, and his army in both the real world and an alternate reality called Ventara.
The broadcast lineup for Kamen Rider Dragon Knight already includes MediaSet (Italy), RTL2 (Germany), Cartoon Network (Latin America), TV Globo (Brazil), Televisa (Mexico), Venevision (Venezuela) and Caracol (Colombia).
