CPLG Canada has signed a host of new properties as it continues to expand its portfolio and attract new licensees for existing IPs.
Its three newest properties include The World of Eric Carle, Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight and (Not So) Scary Monsters.
The Canuck arm of the licensing agency will create a full L&M program for Eric Carle, looking for partners in key categories including apparel & accessories, electronics/online, publishing, stationery/party goods/seasonal, toys and games and HBA products.
For the boy-targeted Kamen Rider, CPLG Canada is on the hunt for TV, DVD and softlines partners.
And as for (Not So) Scary Monsters from London-based The Monster Factory, the agency is scouting for partners in a range of categories from plush, games and puzzles and publishing to preschool apparel.
As for its existing properties, C&D Visionary has come on-board for Jim Benton’s It’s Happy Bunny for air fresheners, buttons, button sets, shoelaces, lanyards, patches, wristbands, incense, key chains, stickers and magnets and magnet sets. Trends International has also joined the fold to produce posters, calendars, journals, stickers, tattoos, bookmarks and transfers. All products will be available at major retail outlets across Canada in 2010.
Canuck toys and games distribution company Imports Dragon has been appointed as master toy licensee for Cookie Jar’s Caillou, and new toys will be available starting in 2010.
