US-based charity Kids in Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.) is calling out for unused kid-friendly merchandise to make a difference to children living in poverty, affected by disasters or who are ill.

The nonprofit org is asking kids manufacturers or licensors to donate any overstock or extra product they might have on-hand. The goods will help brighten the holiday season for thousands of children across the States. K.I.D.S. arranges for pick-up and has a network of nearly 1,000 local social service agencies though which it distributes donated product.

To make a contribution, contact Donna Charles or Chris Black at K.I.D.S. at 212-279-5493 and ask for a donation form.
