Music, fashion, media and entertainment mogul Russell Simmons has unveiled plans behind greenROKS Ventures, a new multimedia platform for kid-themed entertainment IPs.
The company’s first initiative, Mission G-ROK, is set for a spring 2013 release and is the first in a series of pre-teen mobile games that will allow kids to combine storytelling, music, math and science.
The game app follows the story of aspiring 11-year-old music star G-ROK who has to save the world from an evil villain.
Additional projects intended to educate youth on relevant health, environment and social matters are in the works encompassing webisodes, television, and theater.
