Retail giant Tesco’s UK-based subscription-free streaming service blinkbox has added a raft of children’s programming to its content library, thanks to new deals with eOne, Aardman Animations, Lionsgate and DHX Media.

The online film and TV service has picked up the rights to eOne’s Peppa Pig, Aardman’s Shaun the Sheep, DHX Media’s The Adventures of Paddington Bear and Johnny Test, and Poppy Cat from Lionsgate.

The new acquisitions are the latest in a string of content deals that have seen blinkbox add more than 7,000 titles to its catalogue in the last six months.

Viewers in the UK can access all of its titles via Xbox 360, PS3, tablets Smart devices (TVs, Blu-Ray players, set top boxes), as well as PCs and Macs.
