VIMN inks new Asia Pacific broadcasting deals

Viacom International Media Networks has secured a raft of new TV deals in Asia Pacific for a number of its hit Nickelodeon preschool animated series.

Viacom International Media Networks has secured a raft of new TV deals in Asia Pacific for a number of its hit Nickelodeon preschool animated series.

In the Philippines, ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation has snapped up seasons one and two of Bubble Guppies and seasons one to three of Team Umizoomi. The broadcaster has also nabbed Back at the Barnyard (seasons one and two), Robot and Monster (season one), Go, Diego Go! (seasons one to four), as well as Dora the Explorer (seasons one to six, and a selection of Dora specials).

For Taiwan, Eastern Broadcasting Asia has picked upTeam Umizoomi (season two), Go, Diego Go! (seasons one to four), and seasons three, four and six of Dora the Explorer.

Rounding out the new deals, Korea’s Medialog Corp (formerly Dacom Multimedia Internet Corp) has secured Team Umizoomi (seasons one and two), while China’s Zhong Shi Jun Hui (Beijing) Advertising and Media has grabbed Bubble Guppies (season one), Kung Fu Panda (seasons one and two), plus a number of Dora specials.
