New York-based The Joester Loria Group has brought on the Pinkalicious publishing property from HarperCollins into its portfolio.

The New York Times bestselling kidlit series, illustrated by Victoria Kann and co-authored by Victoria and Elizabeth Kann, has sold almost a million copies. JLG will be launching an L&M program based on the girl-targeted IP that includes graphic elements of cupcakes, flowers, butterflies and a unicorn for a fall 2010 rollout.

Jakks Pacfiic is already on board as toy licensee for a collection of dolls, accessories, play sets and dress up, along with Halloween costumes, and Madame Alexander will continue offering Pinkalicious soft dolls in specialty stores.

JLG will be seeking out partners in categories such as apparel, footwear, toys, HBA, social expressions and home.
