UK terrestrial broadcaster Channel 5 has picked up the broadcast rights for the Nick Jr. preschool series Bubble Guppies.
The series, which currently airs on Nick Jr. within the UK and Ireland, will air on Channel 5’s Milkshake! programming block starting this spring.
Nickelodeon will roll out a complementary multi-category Bubble Guppies consumer product range in the UK starting this fall across publishing, toys, softwares and home entertainment.
From the creators of The Backyardigans, Bubble Guppies is a musical comedy set in a 3D underwater environment that incorporates math, literacy, the arts, science and socio-emotional development. It first launched in the US in 2011.
