It looks like Postman Pat is heading to the movies, as Classic Media and UK-based Timeless Films are teaming up to produce a feature-length 3-D film based on the property.

Slated for a fall 2011 release, the film will be produced in its original stop-frame animation format with added CG and 3-D effects. Kim Fuller (Spice World, S Club 7) is on board as screenwriter, and Timeless will distribute the movie in the UK and internationally.

And the search for Waldo continues, as Classic expands its licensing program for its elusive bespectacled icon, signing TDC Games to create branded puzzles. The line will launch with 2,000-piece, 1,000-piece, 300-piece large piece and 234-piece ‘World’s Smallest’ jigsaw puzzles, 24-piece puzzles, and hide-and-seek figural games, rolling out in summer 2010 in the US and Canada.
