As the licensing arm of DHX Media looks for more worldwide representation of its TV-based properties, it’s inked a trio of licensing agents in several territories across the globe.
Empire Inter-Merchandising Corporation will rep the L&M rights to Animal Mechanicals, Franny’s Feet and Bo on the GO! for the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. The deal was brokered by Charlie Day of The Sharpe Company, which is the worldwide licensing agent for the three properties.
The Sharpe Company has also brokered a deal in Korea with Asiana for Poppetstown, and DHXL has also appointed Asiana as the Korean agent for Animal Mechanicals, while IMC will rep the latter for South America. In Canada, CPLG will be repping tween-targeted The Latest Buzz.
