London’s Cake Entertainment will be joining Studio Baestarts to co-produce slap-stick comedy series Huhu.
Pitched at last year’s Cartoon Forum, the six-to-12 targeted shortform series (52 x two minutes) is intended for distribution onto TV, online and mobile platforms. The series is currently in pilot stage and Cake will be taking it to Cartoon Forum and MIPCOM Jr.
The two prodcos have already achieved pre-sales for YLE, STV, NRK, Duna TV, Minimax Canal + France, Canal + Poland and Canal + Spain as well as securing Media Plus funding. They’ll be on the hunt for one more pre-sale at Cartoon Forum to complete finance.
