Upstart Canuck/Aussie prodco Chocolate Liberation Front is kicking things off with development on its first project, The World of Infinite Curiosity.

The multiplatform family-targeted project is in the works for a video game, funded by Telefilm Canada and Screen Australia, and a primetime TV series.

The World of Infinite Curiosity is a universe derived from the imagination of 11-year-old Decklin, influenced by the creative mind of Leonardo da Vinci. CLF has tapped the services of Toronto-based C.O.R.E Digital to create the artwork, which has worked on Resident Evil: Apocolypse and X-Men.

TV writer-producer Naomi Janzen (7thHeaven, Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda) is developing the story on the series, while the vidgame is being worked on by Tony Reed, MD of Reed Interactive (Command and Conquer, Earthworm Jim and several Star Trek titles); Adrian Crook (The Outfit); and Morgan Jaffit from Australia (game credits on Happy Feet and Teen Titans).
